Description
The Westlawn Schools were awarded under one IPD contract for the design and construction of one K-3 School (Aleda Patterson School) and one 4-9 School (Alex Janvier School) in the Westlawn community. The project also included the demolition of the existing Westlawn and Afton Schools.
Aleda Patterson K-3 School will have a capacity of 400 students with proposed expansion available for modular buildings if needed. The school was built utilizing 21st century learning and targeting LEED v4 Silver, utilizing energy efficiency and sustainability such as solar panels.
