The Joey Moss School was a ground-up build with roughly 82,000 square-feet of learning space. It has the capacity for 930 students. The school features a learning stair in the learning commons, two gymnasium facilities, and in-floor heating for kindergarten classrooms.
The school utilizes 21st century learning and is targeting LEED v4 Silver, utilizing energy efficiency and sustainability with provisions for future solar capabilities.
This school was bundled with the Joan Carr K-9 Catholic School. While delivered separately, this design-build tender closed on the same day and was turned over on the same day. These two schools are about a block away from each other in the Keswick Community of South Edmonton.
