Description
The NLRHC Building Envelope project involved the replacement of the entire building and was viewed as three distinct elements: the tower, the lower level, and the roof replacement.
The tower portion of the project consisted of the replacement of all exterior wall envelope systems including windows, doors, louvres, and lightning protection for the second, third, fourth, and fifth floors, as well as the mechanical penthouse. The lower level included the replacement of all exterior wall envelope systems including windows and doors for the sub-basement, basement, and first floor. The roof replacement included replacing all existing roof levels including structural modifications to level off existing sloped roofs. The work on the tower was divided into two phases and ran concurrent to the lower-level work and roofing of various areas.
